Derek “Griff” Griffon serves as Leadership Development Director and A Teaching Pastor at The Bayou Church. For nearly 17 years, Griff has been committed to raising up leaders and preaching the truth of Scripture with clarity and conviction.

Griff is an author, speaker, and coach who invests in communicators, athletes, leaders, students and pastors across the country, helping them grow in discipline, identity, and calling. He is also the host of the Daily Rebel Devotional Podcast, where he challenges listeners to live boldly for Christ in the middle of everyday life.

Known for being reverent to the Word of God, relevant to people’s situations, and real to who he is, Griff carries a deep passion for preaching the gospel and discipling leaders who live it out.
